News for our Ukrainian partners

Categories //News, Projects

At Progress Foundation, we have understood from previous projects that helping the helpers is an important activity, considering that the whole Ukrainian society is engulfed in a national effort to fight the Russian invasion. Front line workers involved in civil protection, health support or social assistance are stretched at the maximum, in both terms of physical and psychological effort. The Saviour Complex, where CSO workers are doing above-human efforts to help the war, is something we see frequently in the area of civil society workers.

As a result, our organization will organize in the last part of November (22-26) a wellbeing camp in Sighetu Marmatiei, aimed at providing CSO workers from Ukraine a place to rest in a safe space. At the same time, we aim at providing them psychological support and also allowing them to form peer support networks for when they return to Ukraine.

The Wellbeing Camp is a project supported by the German Marshall Fund.
